Prof. Olavo Abreu
Carl Varel
Black Belt
Olavo "The Professor" Abreu is a 6th Degree Black Belt and is highly regarded as one of the legends of Brazilian Jiujitsu worldwide. He has trained directly with Carlson Gracie Jr, one of the co- founders of Brazilian Jiujitsu.
Brown Belt
Carl Varel is a Brown Belt under Prof. Olavo and founder and head coach of Westbay BJJ. Carl has won the World Masters JiuJitsu Championship at brown belt and is also an ADCC Pro India gold medalist, Asian medalist, and has won BJJ Nationals multiple times. His titles also include international fights like Carlson Gracie International, AJP Grand Slam, and superfights in Thailand.
